The resistance bands on your machine provide smooth, fluid resistance. The weighted resistance for each band will vary the further it is stretched. Below is an example of the resistance you will experience using your machine. Note that each band can be used separately or combined for a total of 7 resistance levels.
- Gray resistance band resistance range from 150% to 217% = 3kg/7lbs to 5kg/12lbs
- Black resistance band resistance range from 150% to 217% = 4kg/9lbs to 7kg/16lbs
- Red resistance band resistance range from 150% to 217% = 5kg/13lbs to 10kg/23lbs

How do I exchange or replace a resistance band on the Total Flex™?

The Total Flex™ arrives almost completely assembled. The only bit of assembly needed is to attach the left and right “arms” to the unit. This is an easy step to complete and is described in the owner's manual. We have also created a quick video to help you with this final step.
